Rubbish Removal
BIF has heavy plant and equipment to remove and dump large items, for example car bodies. A fee, well below cost, is provided as a community service to encourage residents help clean up their domestic yards. Other yard services are also available in the following table.

Office Support/Grant Auspice
BIF can provide support services for accounting and auspice of grants on a fee for service basis. Accepting the auspice of a grant is subject to a clear understanding of the grant obligations as BIF is ultimately responsible for financial and performance reporting.

Meeting Room
A small conference room is located at Rm 5 Business Centre, suiting small groups of up to eight (8) persons with telephone conferencing facility, projector/screen and whiteboard. The room contains tea and coffee making, sink, and bar fridge for self catering. This private and air conditioned room is ideal for informal meetings and workshops for small groups. As this boardroom facility is popular, bookings are necessary, telephone the BIF office on 07 4203 0988.

BIF has recently agreed to manage the Community Postal Agency (CPA) for Badu Island on behalf of Australia Post. Although some Australia Post services are unavailable to a CPA, BIF will focus on delivery of the postal needs of the Badu community. This new service for BIF will operate from the existing CPA at room 2 Business Centre. A supply of postal stationery and general stationery will be available for sale to customers, including receiving and holding of non perishable freight for the weekly barge service.
